Pray in Faith

Do you truly understand how powerful prayer is? Prayer is what moves the hand of God. Prayer is what rallies and dispatches God’s angels to come fight for you and your cause. Prayer opens the door to miracles. Prayer is powerful. But along with prayer, you must have faith. We talked about this in another post, but I want to restate the importance of faith. Scripture tells us that whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith (Matthew 21:22). We see that we need faith when we pray. We also see that when Jesus healed in the New Testament, he responds that their faith has made them well (go read for yourself).

So why do we need faith? We need faith because it shows that we believe in God, that we believe that He loves and cares for us. Hebrews 11:1 describes faith as the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. We cannot see God, but with faith, we believe that He is real, powerful, and is the only source to our needs/prayers. Hebrews 11:6 goes on to say, and without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. When we have faith, we believe that God will answer us. Faith means when we choose God to provide. When we don’t have faith, we don’t believe that God is capable of meeting our needs, and we ultimately reject Him. Have faith and watch what God does in your life!

Furthermore, I want to share that we must pray in Jesus’ Name because salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12) and his name is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9). Only his name can save, because Jesus is the one who died for us and was raised to life (I’ll explain more at another time). There is power in prayer, and power in the name of Jesus. Moreover, the Bible says in John 14:13-14, whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. What an amazing promise to cling to, to stand on. I’ve used this scripture many times when praying for others and myself. If my daughter is ill with a fever, I pray and ask God to heal my daughter and say, “Lord, you say that if I ask anything in your name, you will do it”. I also say this if I am praying for others to have a breakthrough, healing, restoration, or peace. God is good and faithful, and we can be assured that he knows what we need before we ask him (Matthew 6:8).

Prayer is the key to unlock the gates of Heaven. God is in Heaven on His throne just waiting to answer your prayers. Let God answer your prayers. Let His angels come to your rescue. Let him work signs and wonders. Let him heal you, provide for you, comfort you. Ask and you shall receive he says (Matthew 7:7). What is stopping you? Pray and believe and He will move. Have faith.

Let us Pray.

God Almighty,

You are righteous and worthy to be praised. Be magnified oh Lord, for you are great. I thank you God, for all those reading. Bless them. Show them the value of faith and prayer. As they pray, answer them and provide breakthroughs and blessings! Be Gloried! You can do all things Father, nothing is too hard for you. You are the Creator of the Universe; your hand is not shortened that you cannot save (Isaiah 59:1)! Who can deny Your Power and Greatness? Who can outdo you? No one Lord, so I thank you in advance for the miraculous things you are about to do for these readers. You know what we need before we ask, and you can do more then we can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Send your angels to protect the readers and pour out upon them your blessings. Thank You Lord.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.

Prayerfully,

Pam
