14 Things I Love about Christmas
Those close to me know that I love Christmas! I often get teased by family members because I love it so much!

Learning to Feel
I talk about sadness, I write about sadness, and I think about sadness; but rarely, do I ever FEEL sadness. Over the past year, I've been getting counseling and my therapist tells me, thinking isn't the same as feeling.

Good Grief! Good Grief?
It's been a while since I've written a blog post, and there are a few reasons for that. Firstly, I have been busy with school and all that comes with it.

You Are Loved
My husband and I just celebrated 17 years together. That is a long time, considering we got culturally married at the age of 15 and 16.

Working Through My Anxiety
I have been an anxious person for as long as I can remember. When I'm feeling anxious, my mind is racing, my heart beating, and it feels like it's going to jump right out of my chest.

God Redeems
I've made a lot of mistakes in life, and there are many things I am not proud of. Just this morning, I was thinking about the younger me and how I am sad for her.

I Give Up!
I am a mess, and I am at my wits end. I just can't take this anymore, and I don't know what else to do! I can't be strong anymore! I don't want to be strong. I can't do this anymore!

An Update and Merry Christmas
As you may have noticed, I have not been publishing as much content as I usually do. To be honest, I have not had the motivation to do so, and there are a few other reasons for this.

God Attachment
I recently did a Literature Review for class and wanted to share with you what I learned. Each of us have an attachment style, something we developed as a child, which serves to help us psychologically and to keep us from harm.

Remove and Replace
The other day, I walked to my car and sat in the passenger seat. I heard some rustling, and from the corner of my eye, I saw something moving behind me.

More Heart Knowledge
A lot of people have head knowledge. They may be a history major, car enthusiast, or art expert. If you dig enough, read enough, and spend enough time learning about something, it won't be long until you have a good amount of knowledge.

The Cost of Pride
If you look in the Bible, there are many scriptures that address pride. The book of Proverbs, alone, gives numerous teachings on pride, and tells us: where there is pride, there is disgrace (11:2), strife (13:10), and downfall (18:12).

Don't Be a Pharisee!
One of my biggest fears is being a Pharisee. These were the leaders in the synagogues, back in Jesus' day, who knew God's (600+) laws and commands.

Don't Discredit Discomfort
I don't think anyone enjoys discomfort; but sadly, it's a part of life. We all go through seasons of change, and periods of discomfort. We get tired, beaten down and fatigued.

Faith over fear
A few days ago, I let my fear (and lack of faith) get the better of me, all for a good 5 minutes. It sounds silly, I know. But the silly part is actually that I continue to struggle with this fear, over and over again, and the fear produces a great deal of anxiety and worry!

Are you spiritually anemic?
There are different types of Anemia. According to the Mayo Clinic, people with anemia don't have adequate amounts of (healthy) red blood cells, which give our body oxygen.
